My version of a good role model is everything that I have strived to become over the years, as I have a deep desire to live an honest life and give relentlessly and openly to people who look up to me.

This may be a bit of a broad statement, but I don’t think there’s anyone that I’ve met that I haven’t created a bit of a deep relationship with. It’s a really lovely thing to create a relation with people that might not anticipate that closeness. And that’s kind of the light of my life, getting to be close to people.

The first CD I ever bought was Gwen Stafani’s first solo album. She was the light of my life when I was 8.

I love women. I love celebrating women.

Sure, they can take your binder, but they can’t take whatever special thing you have inside you.

A pioneer into illusion, an adventurer into the unknown. To give beyond reason, to care beyond hope, to love without limit; to reach, stretch and dream in spite of your fears. These are the hallmarks of divinity-traits of the immortal-your badges of honor. Your light has illuminated darkened paths, your gaze has lifted broken spirits, and already your life has changed the course of history.

Being mean is honestly so embarrassing. It’s like admitting to the world that you are overly invested in someone else’s business, you’re insecure & judgmental asf, and you’re so unhappy with your own life that you think others’ happiness has some kind of impact on yours.

If you leave people happier, lighter & laughing when you leave, and still maintain your happiness & stability: you’ve won the game.

Girls: Never let anyone tell you not to do something because it’s ‘unladylike’. Are you a lady? Congrats. Everything you do is now ladylike.

Like, damn. Just chill. It’s exhausting to live in negativity. It’s so much more fun to just live your life and let people be. Focus on you.

I am choosing to love myself very well & with intention today. I am considering my needs and prioritizing them. I am protecting myself from things that I know may garm me. I am watching my thoughts and emotions with curiosity and love. Think: How would I care for a partner, or a child?
